JENN – SADTU FS Awards
The date was set for the 3rd of March 2023, when the South African Democratic Teachers Union in the Free State would take their turn in time to honour teachers and excellent school performance in the province for the year 2022.
The categories of excellence that were being rewarded to SADTU members in this event included amongst others, subject educators from all four exit phases (Foundation, Intermediate, GET and FET) across the Free State province. This was over and above the awarding of Quintile 1 to 3 High Schools that produced the best results during the National Senior Certificate Examinations in 2022. The event saw approximately 250 pedagogy practitioners be awarded during the event.
It is said that teamwork, leadership, professionalism, and diversity are fundamental elements of excellence in 21st century science, yet the majority of awards overlook or underplay these vital qualities.
JENN Training and Consultancy’s executive management has taken the decision to continue sponsoring these kind of initiatives as it has noted that it is very important that professionals are rewarded for their efforts in a way fit for the environment in which they operate.
