‘Building the next generation of ICT professionals starts here.’
Marematlou Training Institute (MTI) is proud to welcome the Class of 2026/27 to the IT Systems Support NQF Level 5 Learnership. This exciting new cohort of twenty-five learners marks another important milestone in MTI’s commitment to developing highly skilled ICT professionals who will contribute to South Africa’s growing digital economy.
As technology continues to transform the way we live, work, and do business, the demand for qualified IT professionals has never been greater. Through this nationally recognised learnership, learners will gain the technical knowledge, practical workplace experience, and professional skills required to excel in today’s technology-driven environment.
Over the coming months, learners will develop expertise in systems support, network administration, operating systems, hardware and software maintenance, technical troubleshooting, information security, and customer support. The programme combines structured classroom learning with valuable workplace exposure, ensuring that every learner graduates with both industry knowledge and practical experience.
Beyond technical excellence, MTI is committed to developing well-rounded professionals. Throughout the programme, learners will strengthen essential workplace competencies such as communication, teamwork, leadership, problem-solving, professionalism, and ethical conduct – qualities that are highly valued across the ICT industry.
This learnership represents more than an academic qualification; it is an investment in the future of young South Africans. By equipping learners with in-demand digital skills and workplace experience, MTI continues to create pathways to meaningful employment, entrepreneurship, and lifelong learning.
To our twenty-five future IT professionals, welcome to the Marematlou community. We are excited to be part of your journey and look forward to celebrating your growth, achievements, and success throughout the 2026/27 academic year.
