Teacher’s Day 2022.

The 5th of October marks World Teacher’s Day, that is celebrated internationally. This year (2022) the day fell right in the middle of JENN’s Spring Classes intervention period.None-the-less, colleagues based in the Eastern Cape did not let this deter them from celebrating the day that is after all, all about them.

The 1st of October 2022 was then set out as a Braai Day in celebration of the actual day. Cluster A (consisting of Alfred Nzo East and West and OR Tambo Coastal) gathered at the company house in Port Edward, whilst colleagues from Cluster B (including Buffalo City Metro/Amathole West, Amathole East and Chris Hani West) gathered at the Office in East London.

The Marketing Department also took this as an opportunity to dress our teachers in fine cloth (the Golf Shirts, obviously); just as a way to say thank you to the ones who wear many hats. “There definitely has to be a secret module taught whilst studying towards an Education Qualification, on how to become an all-in-one to the entire nation. And we will continually commend those that have such a huge influence in moulding the populace,” – stated Arlene de Jongh (from the Marketing division).
