
Advanced Diploma in School Leadership and Management orientation
Marematlou Training Institute hosted its first cohort of 70 students for the Advanced Diploma in School Leadership and Management orientation during the week of 10th July – 14 July 2023.
The purpose of the orientation week was for students to be familiarised with the course they enrolled for and to be exposed to their lecturers, MTI teaching facilities, to be allocated resources that will enable them to learn without disruptions. Their lecturers were introduced to them and they received their first tuition of the 3 modules that they registered for.

- Portfolio of Evidence
Module facilitation for leading and Managing co-curricular and extra-curricular activities was done by Dr Mosala and Dr Kolobe.
Module facilitation for Leading and Managing schools as organisations was done by Dr Binduku and Dr Bagarette.
Furthermore, the students got exposure to basic computer training (facilitated by Mr Louw and Mr Shuping), Moodle Learning Management System (facilitated by Mr Krengel and Mr Van Ballen) and training on the Library & Information Resource through EBSCO Host (Facilitated by Ms Lakheni). These training platforms were arranged to ensure that the students can work in their individual capacities as the online mode of delivery will be used to deliver content to the students .
The SRC Nominations for Chairperson and Secretary were also conducted by the students and the following nominations were made:

Ms Tengwa: Secretary
Ms Kanetsi: Deputy Secretary
