
Facilitator Training Course
Purpose:
This course provides recognition for those who facilitate or intend to facilitate learning using a variety of methodologies. Successful completion enhances employability and identifies competent learning facilitators.
Target Audience:
Lecturers, teachers, facilitators, HR practitioners, line managers, and workplace coaches interested in becoming certified facilitators.
Entry Requirements:
Competence in numeracy and literacy at NQF Level 4 and basic English communication skills at NQF Level 4.
Course Content:
- Planning and preparing for facilitation, including needs analysis and resource preperation.
- Conducting facilitation using appropriate methodologies and engaging participants.
- Evaluating and reviewing facilitation effectiveness through feedback and self-assessment.
Accreditation:
The course is accredited with the ETDP SETA and aligns with SAQA Unit Standard 117871, NQF Level 5, offering 10 credits.
Duration and Delivery:
- Workshops typically last 3 days, with additional time allocated for portfolio development.
- Delivery methods include in-person workshops and blended e-learning options.
