Showcasing Marematlou’s advancements.

Marematlou Training Institute (MTI) has rooted itself in its values and continues to service the public based on these. As a MICT SETA implementing partner, MTI was so fortunate to have been invited on 2 occasions to showcase their services alongside one of the Accreditation bodies that is in the forefront of unlocking South Africa’s next level of learning and training.
The DDM Presidential Imbizo – Hosted by Botshabelo Digital Hub from 8-9 April 2022, was the first exhibition that MTI attended. Amongst the many dignitaries and stakeholders that were present, was Minister Stella Ndabeni-Abrahams of the Portfolio Small Business Development. This event was presented as part of the President’s visit to the Mangaung Metro and showcasing the municipality’s 4th Industrial Revolution readiness.

The second event was the 3rd Annual Heritage Careers Expo, hosted by the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation on 26 May 2022 – hosted at the Motheo TVET College Artisan Centre in Bloemfontein.

The Heritage Careers Expo was implemented through partnership with the various Sector Education and Training Authorities, such as AgriSETA, CATHSSETA, FOODBEV, FP&MSETA, INSETA, MICTSETA, TETA Services SETA & W&RSETA. In attendance amongst TVET students, and High School learners from Grade 9-11, were dignitaries including the FS MEC: Education, Dr Tate Makgoe and Deputy Minister of Higher Education, Science and Technology, Mr Buti Manamela.
For both expos Marematlou was showcasing to the audience the artificial intelligence and robotics prototypes built by its employees and the possible impact of the fourth industrial revolution on our lives.
