Training Next Generation Leaders
Gaps in traditional education have left much desire for more tailored training and relatable exposure, especially for our leadership. It can be said that for companies to survive in the extremely volatile and ambiguous operating environment, good leadership capabilities are needed all round. And in this case, MGH Executive Management also saw it fit that workshopping should be trickled down to other members of staff and not only those in Leadership Positions.
It is against this background that the District Managers from JENN Training and Consultancy, Cluster Managers, their newly appointed Director for the School Support Programme (Mrs Motlagomang Legegeru), as well as a few identified Lead Teachers were afforded an opportunity to partake in a Leadership Workshop.
The Developmental Training workshop transpired at the serene Irene Lodge in Centurion from the 15th to the 19th of January 2023. The training was offered by 2 facilitators from the Marematlou Training Institute stable, Dr S Binduko and Mr N Malotle. They covered a particular range of topics including Leading and Managing; Communication & Conflict Management and Accountability. Together the platform for engagement was deemed robust and practical according to one district manager.
As companies continue to seek coherent leaders that are communicative, interpretive, and proactive. The workshop was also paired with some well-deserved Team-building exercise Go-Karting and leisure time at the Mall of Africa.
